Hello, I’m Louise Adams (formerly Chatland),  an experienced Osteopath and lecture with a passion for supporting people in feeling more at home in their bodies. whether that means moving freely, managing pain, or simply finding a greater sense of ease and wellbeing.

I take a holistic, person-centred approach to osteopathy, combining clinical knowledge with genuine care. I believe that everybody tells a story, and I take the time to really listen not only to your symptoms, but to how you live, move, and feel day to day. My treatments are tailored to each individual, blending hands-on techniques with thoughtful advice to support recovery, resilience, and long-term health.

If you’re curious about how osteopathy might support your health, or if you’d simply like to have a conversation about what you’re experiencing, I’d be happy to hear from you.

Treatments offered:

Louise works alongside his partner Ben, also a qualified Osteopath and available to book via the same website link.

I first saw Ben in 2019 after being diagnosed with reactive arthritis, I was limited in my daily life by joint pain and stiffness throughout my body and had to reluctantly stop exercising. Previously Osteopathy had helped to relieve my symptoms for short periods of time, but seeing Ben changed my life!
He worked throughout my entire body not just on what was symptomatic, which felt a bit odd at first. But I felt confident in Ben as he so clearly explained to me that only treating my pain would not address the underlying factors to my health.
Having treatment with Ben has not only gotten rid of my symptoms but improved my health I am now able to exercise and more importantly do normal daily tasks without a second thought! Thank you

A simple act of reaching down to the lower shelves in the supermarket left my back in spasm and in constant pain. I was stuck, I couldn’t sit or stand for any prolonged period of time, let alone drive, or function at my job. To get back on my feet and to help prevent this from happening again, I sought the intervention of an Osteopath; Ben was the great recommendation of a colleague. Recovery takes its own personal, individual, trajectory. Ben was thorough and considered in ensuring he tailored the correct assessment for me, to optimise improvement and bring mobility back. Ben’s treatment plan built a steady and enduring recovery. Weekly sessions soon reduced the immediate, acute pain. Appointments soon became fortnightly, then monthly, as the treatment focussed more on building strength to prevent it from happening again. Ben’s professional knowledge and experience, coupled with his calm, considered approach, engendered confidence and delivered results. I would highly recommend him to anyone with acute – or chronic – pain issues.
